Sophie has begun her journey with an initial staff of 13, while today counts over 200 young people who work every day with a commitment to providing product service and quality. Most of our staff have an average life span of up to 3-4 years at the company, of course, there still are employes with a 6 year period since the beginning. Throughout this time frame, Sophie has contributed to building the professional part of the staff since they joined our journey. Not everyone had the right experience, for some it was the first job but even those who had a good experience, they joined the ongoing training phase to develop on the basis of the three main pillars that Sophie relies on since its inception: Communication/Product Quality/ Clean Environment. After transmitting information to staff, theoretical and on-the-job training, continuous communication and various workshops, a tremendous amount of work is being done by the administration to provide its employees with professional development.
What professional development of staff stands for?
Although in a time frame of 6 years we have developed into 20 Sophie stores, our success for us doesn’t rely only on the opening of physical environments, our greatest success is attributed to staff and their professional development. The development stands for constant self-improvement in every job position that Sophie provides, gradually increasing to different levels.
